A growing name in USA Climbing, Stone Moves hosts and competes in several events throughout the year. Stone Moves falls under Division 2 of USA Climbing along with other gyms in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado and New Mexico.

This year, Stone Moves has already hosted the American Bouldering Series Youth Regional competition in January, and will be hosting the Sport Climbing Series 2011 Regional competition in May, as well as the American Bouldering Series Adult Regional competition in October.

Stone Moves also holds several local competitions in addition to the major ones, including the “281” and their weekly Wednesday competition.

Stone Moves has a unique bouldering wall shown below and an impressive team of route setters — including John Muse and Tom Carter, setters for the ABS and SCS competition leagues . The gym also offers route setting clinics for those interested in acquiring the skill.
